Panama was a great experience I was able to learn so much during my time in the trip. I learned that conducting business in Panama is based all on the relationships that you build. I also learned that in Panama it is important to obtain a friendly work culture and be able to bring others together for whatever skillset you might bring to the table. In a business setting Panama focuses on certain industries such as real estate being a huge factor in the economic prosperity that Panama has in. this industry. Many of the individuals I met during my time in Panama were always eager to help out when needed and explained how working in a team is a collective effort rather than a individual effort. That is something that I really admire. During my time of the Study Abroad trip I became so much more aware of how business is conducted through the different parts of the world. I really never realized how each individual country is so different. I always though many of the ways that things here in the United States would be the same as compared to Panama. In a sense there is some truth to that, but overall, the Panama is so much different the US when it comes to the people, economy, and business setting. I have always been open minded to learning about new things, especially if that is going and learning about another country. I never knew that people here in Panama would be so welcoming to foreigners and welcome us with graces and provide I an experience that is unforgettable. Overall, my impressions of Panama were great that I got to learn so much about another culture and really analyze the differences of countries compared to the United States and use this knowledge I gained in my professional career.
