Through CIBS, I was able to spend over 2 weeks traveling across 5 countries in Europe to gain insight into public and private financial markets. We visited over 20 financial institutions in just 2 weeks. This trip gave me insight into the international market and opened my eyes to many different career paths I can take with a degree in finance. From an educational perspective, I learned new terms and technical processes that are often used when working for a global company. I was also able to emerge myself into several different cultures with visits to the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and France. In addition to all of the knowledge I gained, I was also able to form lifelong friendships with 14 other students attending MAYS Business School at Texas A&M!
