This trip exceeded all my expectations and provided me with invaluable opportunities to network with top associates, CEOs, CFOs, VPs, and MDs. I was impressed by their down-to-earth demeanor and genuine willingness to share their expertise. The meticulously prepared presentations they delivered showcased the countless hours of effort they had invested. Each company visit surpassed my wildest dreams, granting me exposure and insights that I will cherish forever.
In just two short weeks, I gained more knowledge than in any of my academic classes. The concepts I learned in my Money and Capital Markets course (FINC 381) came alive during this trip, motivating me to continue working hard and appreciating the value of my education. I am incredibly fortunate to have been selected for the Investment Management Trip, and I am grateful to you and everyone involved for allowing me to pursue my passion on an international scale.
Among all the remarkable experiences, my visit to J.P. Morgan in Geneva stands out as my absolute favorite. This visit provided me with a comprehensive understanding of wealth management and how this sector helps affluent individuals achieve their financial goals. The insights gained and the networking opportunities were exceptionally valuable. It has solidified my ambition to work at either the Dallas or Switzerland office in the future. This newfound clarity and passion will drive me to absorb as much knowledge as possible in my future finance classes and professional endeavors. I didn?t expect to love wealth management as much as I did and I also didn?t expect the professionals to be incredibly kind and interested in our lives. I loved meeting each one because they all have unique career paths and advice to share with us. Overall, it was the best experience of my life!
