Howdy Howdy! This is my blog post for the 18th of May hehe! So, this day we were fortunate enough to sit through a presentation by Amazon! From this presentation I personally felt like I was able to learn so much about the difference in culture between the United States and Japan. So, in Japan due to their culture preferences, they really do not like the idea of leaving out packages on the porch of their homes/ apartments. This is directly opposite to what?s done in the United States as here, getting a package left at the front of your home is very normal. Just being able to see the cultural difference and how the company caters around it is so enlightening. After we finished learning about the difference between Amazon Japan and Amazon US, we got to go to a popular local soba noodle restaurant and my oh my it was delicious! I was so happy to eat here, and I?m glad that we got to try because this was my first time eating these types of noodles! After this we got to tour ANA airlines, the culture of Japan is very prominent and one of the main things that you can tell that really differs from the United States is the hospitality these companies have for their customers and visitors. As we were escorted by the tour guide you can tell the time and effort they spent putting the tour together as the professionalism they exuded was an astounding experience.
