The airline visit has been my favorite business visit so far. The airline went into depth about the simulation of pilots, responsibility of: co-pilots, pickets, and flight attendants, and lastly safety/ emergency evacuations. The whole tour had plenty of airplane parts featured: such as the engine, the widow seat, and the floaters. The tour guide went into depth about the functionality of the plane and what it took to actually fly it. It was new to me, that you would have to go to school for 3 years before you can even touch a plane. After that another 3 years to become a co-pilot. Then, another few years of full experience to finally become a pilot. Another idea that I thought was cool, was the simulations. At the end of the tour we got to experience what it was like to land a plane and fly it through harsh weather conditions. The simulations had rain and dark thunderstorm clouds. We heard the co-pilot and pilot communicate over the speaking and they were super efficient. Overall ANA truly cares for the customer?s safe, efficient flying techniques, and their business values were clearly portrayed at the workplace. I thought the experience was super impactful.
