What an amazing learning opportunity. Education and learning have always been important to me and a study abroad program offers the chance to immerse yourself in learning.
There are some things you cannot learn about in a classroom, especially when it comes to business. You have to be able to physically go to that company, and see what their highlights and struggles are and what makes them tick. During the study abroad program, we were able to do so and ask the customers, workers, and owners questions before drawing up ideas on what to improve on. Being abroad and working with international companies also helps you learn more about their culture to form a better relationship with them.
From a different angle, I loved Europe! I had never been before so I was super excited about everything we did and saw. I do not think I could have another experience quite?like this one! I was able to see so much history, art, and culture! I was able to live like a local too! We went to local laundromats and grocery stores to get our necessities.
I cannot say enough good things about studying abroad and I would recommend it to anyone inside and outside the business school.
