I am so thankful for this trip and for Mays allowing students to have incredible experiences like this one. I had such a great time on this trip and really learned so much. We were able to explore places in both France and London that many people may never get to see, witness some once in a lifetime things, and learn about some amazing companies. I especially loved London and the things that we were able to do there. We were there for the Queen?s platinum jubilee which was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And it was so neat! Everywhere we went people were decked out with Union Jack flags and were filled with excitement for the festivities. It was so fun to be a part of the festivities even if it was only for a little while. I also really enjoyed the companies that we visited in London. We got the chance to speak to the founder of Loke, a marketing startup that focuses on bettering customer experiences through food delivery and loyalty apps. We also visited Lloyds of London which is a large insurance company specializing in rare types of risk. These two company visits were some of my favorite and I learned so many things that I know I will take with me into the future. Overall this trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I am so thankful for all the experiences that I have been able to have through this. I made new friends and new memories that I know will last me a lifetime!
