We arrived in France about a week ago and I have already learned so much. We have been to a few different cities, with each one being different than the last. So far, we?ve been to Lisieux and Paris.
When we first landed, we went straight to Lisieux, France. This was a much smaller town. I was surprised at how walkable the town was and the beauty that was within in. It seemed like everywhere you went there was a stunning cathedral or beautiful nature waiting for you. I was more familiar with what Paris was like, so it was interesting to finally be able to experience the French countryside. I personally loved the town and felt that it was a good mix between the bustling city and a rural area.
Next, we arrived in Paris. I have heard so much about the city, so I was interested in seeing if it met my expectations. Upon arriving, it actually exceeded my expectations. As we drove into the city, we could see the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River. The architecture and style of every single building was breathtaking. Our group was constantly taking photos everywhere we went. I also thought the city would be super crowded and dirty kind of like New York, but that was not the case. The city was clean and there was plenty of room to walk and enjoy the sights.
Overall, I have loved France so far and cannot wait to experience more of it when we visit Nice next!
