So far Barcelona, Spain has been an amazing experience. The culture is so unique and different from that of the United States. We have seen some interesting things during our short time getting introduced to the area. In Barcelona, they celebrate the Holiday ?Di? de Los Reyes Magos,? which is also known as ?The Epiphany? or ?Three Kings Day.? This holiday is very big in this area, and in other places in Spain. This holiday celebrates the wise men bringing gifts to Jesus. The children receive gifts the morning after, much like the way children receive gifts on Christmas. On January 6th we were able to understand how serious this holiday is to the people of Barcelona. We attended a parade right down the block from our hotel. There were so many children and families excited to celebrate the arrival of the kings.?
