Being in Barcelona for two weeks was quite the experience. We had a chance to see exactly how different other parts of the world are. They do business much differently there in that they focus on sustainability rather than efficiency. However, Barcelona is the main economic superpower in Spain and they want independence because of that and some cultural issues. To do business there, it is almost a must to be bilingual in some capacity. Everyone there is very close and has a collectivist mindset. The food is also much better and healthier than in the U.S. It is much different than the U.S. and I encourage anyone thinking about studying abroad to go ahead and do it. You will not regret it.
