It has only been a week in Barcelona and we have had so much fun! We also enjoyed the beautiful work of art of architecture Antonino Gaud? with his Bas?lica de la Sagrada Fam?lia. I had the chance to swim in the beautiful waters of Bogatell Beach. The water was crystal clear something I had never seen before! We also got a little competitive and participated in a scavenger hunt where we got to learn and explore Las Ramblas and the Gothic Area. I was able to step foot in Barcelona?s soccer team stadium Bar?a. I recorded many videos for my dad!
In the following days, we had class, group discussions, and presentations. Learning about the European Union has been interesting and has shown me the differences between Europe and America.
Our tour guide Cristina took us to Montserrat, a beautiful multi-peak mountain range. The view was so mesmerizing. After that, we got a tour of Freixenet a bubbly wine business, ?cava? is the word they use for it. Apart from Sagrada Fam?lia, we also got to experience more of Antonino Gaud?s work in Casa Mila. Casa Mila was one of Gaudi?s apartment complexes he designed.
Barcelona has treated me really well and I am excited for what is yet to come. Adios y hablamos pronto!
