It?s always been a dream of mine to travel to Spain ever since the first time I ever saw Cheetah Girls 2 back in 2006. I immediately fell in love with the city after watching the movie and I just knew that I had to one day go and visit. Fast forward nearly 15 years later, here I am writing this post on a couch in my apartment in Barcelona.
Coming into this trip, I will admit that I was definitely nervous, but more than anything, I was ready to travel over 5,200 miles and create amazing memories in a new, unfamiliar city. Despite it only being less than a week since my arrival, I feel as if I have lived in Barcelona for weeks! Living in Barcelona has felt so natural and I absolutely love the city’s ambiance. From the amazing weather to riding the metro to even meeting friendly locals. These past few days have been incredible and a large part is thanks to the amazing girls I live with! <3?
Barcelona is a beautiful city that oozes culture wherever you go. There is so much to see within the city and there is something for everyone. So far, I have visited the Sagrada Familia, swam in the Mediterranean sea, watched the Euro Cup with locals, and enjoyed delicious Spaniard food. There is definitely still so much that I want to do before the end of my trip and I genuinely cannot wait to explore more of the city. Please treat me well Barcelona! 🙂
