Having been in Costa Rica for only three days now, I can already say that this is one of my favorite countries I have ever visited.?My experience abroad so far has been amazing. So far, the cuisine, the weather, and the ecosystem have been the three standouts to me. The food is incredibly flavorful, the weather is constantly an ideal temperature, and the ecosystem is beautiful. Moreover, everyone here is kind, respectful, and extremely humble.
Some of the activities we have done so far include Latin dancing, ziplining, going to the local market, and tasting various tropical fruits. I have loved each activity so far, and I cannot wait to learn more about the culture and the community here in Costa Rica for the remainder of the trip!
The course we are currently taking is called IBUS 459: Latin American Markets. I was intrigued after our very first lecture yesterday on neuromarketing, and I cannot wait to learn more! I look forward to learning more about the various local companies and being able to eventually compare the way they do business to how business works in the United States.
If you are considering traveling abroad to Costa Rica at some point in the future, make sure to take all of these things into consideration. I could not think of a more unique and beautiful country to study abroad in! I promise it is worth the trip!
