Even though it is just the beginning, France has been more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am constantly blown away by the beauty that I see and the different experiences that I get to have here. I have loved exploring different cities and finding hidden gems everywhere. I have also loved getting the chance to learn about the history and culture of all the places that we visit. One of the coolest experiences was getting to visit the beaches in Normandy where the U.S. troops landed on D Day. I was brought to tears by the amazing sacrifice they made and the chance I had to stand exactly where they stood decades later. Aside from this, we have been able to visit an Abbey that’s thousands of years old, drive through miles of the French countryside, and meet new people that help us to learn more about France. I can?t wait to see what the rest of this amazing trip will hold!
