That was literally the best two weeks of my entire life. I made some really great friends and met some really interesting people, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. ?Spain exceeded my exceptions in every way. I fell in love with the country, the people, the culture, and the lifestyle. Doing business in Spain was a really eye-opening experience. We got to tour Cellar Diaz’s vermouth facilities in Stiges. We were tasked with giving them advice that could help improve their business practices. One of the things we had to be cognizant of was that tradition and family mean a lot to the people of Spain. So when we were giving Cellar Diaz advice, we had to make sure we were saying it in a very passive, non-confrontational way. This was an interesting transition from how we give presentations in America. I am excited that I have this experience because I feel like it will be helpful in the future when I need to conduct business with people from different cultural backgrounds. My sister is going to be living in Madrid next year and I have already made plans to come stay with her because I have to go back to this amazing country. I have spent the last week missing tapas, cava and the metro. I cannot wait to go back!
