Although this is my second time coming on this trip, there was no telling what the coming days would consist of. Initially, I was a little worried my experience wouldn’t be as great as last year’s, but in fact, it was just a great or even better! It was very inspiring to see each individual in our team working in unison to achieve the common goal of providing our clients with the best deliverables. Seeing our clients’ faces light up in joy and tears start to fill their eyes was remarkable and very representative of our work’s impact on their lives. Even as a second-timer, this feeling of joy doesn’t perish.
While comparing business affairs in Panama vs. the U.S., one can say there are numerous similarities. For one, many U.S. based corporations also have a location in Panama City. Therefore, the way of operation for these companies is the same. Additionally, Panama adopted the U.S. dollar as its own. Lastly, most Panamanians in the capital also know English which makes business affairs easier and if just another way in which these two countries are connected and maintain that similarity.
