This past winter I went to Panama for a week and it was a great experience! I was able to interact and help a community and develop many skills that will help in both my college career and my professional career. I was able to learn about the local resources that help the people in the community run their business that help them survive as well as learn a lot from their culture. The people running the brigade were super nice and I felt so comfortable with them, in fact we exchanged contact information and I am still in contact with them! I can honestly say this was such a great experience and will carry the memories and lessons learned with me forever!
