At first glance, I noticed that everything was so much more compact in Milan. The massive roads and cars of the US were nowhere to be seen. Because of it being a historical city, there was no building over roads to make them bigger, especially in the city center. Another thing that caught my eye was the people’s dress in Milan. Milan is the fashion capital of the world, and people dress like it. It doesn’t matter if it’s sunny or not, people are decked out in sunglasses and stylish coats. Now in Bocconi, things were also quite different. The campus was rather small and only covered a small area on the outskirts of the city center. It was quite a shock because I’m used to massive campuses. As I expected, everything here was completely different compared to the US and I’m glad because more of the same would have been boring.
