This trip beyond exceeded my expectations, and my mindset greatly changed. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of wonder and excitement. It is easy to get stuck in a bubble, yet this trip reminded me of what’s important—nature and community. The vibrant landscapes and warm-hearted people made every day special. In Africa, my priorities were simpler and my worries were less. Each day brought new discoveries and unforgettable moments. Everyday was an incredible adventure. I think about this experience often, and I want to go back to Africa. The memories of the breathtaking sunsets and the sounds of wildlife stay with me. Interacting with animals and creation was a humbling experience; I am a small human in a big world. This realization brought a profound sense of peace and gratitude. I am incredibly grateful to CIBS for this life-changing experience.
