These past two weeks have been not only unforgettable but also life-changing. I was able to learn about the cultural aspects of the country while diving into the business environment in Morocco.
These two weeks revealed a side of the world I had never experienced before. Not only were the people different from those in the United States, but the overall culture was distinct as well. Witnessing these differences gave me a deeper appreciation for other cultures and the diversity they bring as i fell in love with the culture and the people at morocoo. The people were incredibly welcoming, providing me with a sense of home even though I was thousands of miles away from the U.S. As I walked through various medinas and shops, I felt grateful for the opportunity to experience the unique cultural richness of Morocco. Visiting this country changed my perspective on life in a positive way and allowed me to meet new people.
During my trip to Morocco, I had the amazing opportunity to visit not only companies but also associations. I visited places such as Polydesign, Darna, and ED Trust. Gaining insights from these organizations was invaluable as I learned about laws and regulations that differ greatly from those in the United States. One organization that stood out to me was Darna. DARNA is a women’s business association focused on helping women with education and supporting them in starting businesses when needed. I learned about the significant benefits this association provides to many women and the role the government plays in supporting such initiatives.
Overall, I gained a deeper understanding of how conducting business in Morocco differs from doing so in the United States. Each location has its own unique advantages and challenges, and exploring these differences has broadened my perspective on international business.
