As I sit in the Madrid airport, I cannot help but look back on the incredible experience that I have been blessed to have over the past two and a half months. I have made incredible friendships and seen places I always dreamed of. My friends and I visited 10 countries and dozens of cities in a relatively short amount of time. I am so grateful to Professor Rossi, Mrs. Lane, and everyone who ensured this trip would be a reality. Despite being here for so long, I am not ready to go home. My time abroad has solidified my desire to spend a semester in Italy and I cannot wait to get back here. I learned what it meant to be an American and a Texan, by getting out and seeing a world that I was not used to.
