Through this experience, I learned a lot about the importance of sustainable business and leadership. Going into the field trip, I expected Antarctica to be very cold even though it was summer there. However, one of the days got up to 64 degrees, and many of the other days weren’t even below freezing. The staff on the boat made it a point to talk to us about climate change because it had been so hot there. This made me realize that sustainable business and leadership is essential to slowing the affects of global warming and saving that beautiful continent.
