Overall, the trip was amazing. The expeditions were a lot of fun. It was really cool to meet people on the boat who weren’t from A&M. However, seeing wildlife from the ship was by far my favorite part about the trip. Orcas are my favorite animal so it was probably the coolest experience of my life getting to see so many in the wild. Seeing penguins and humpback whales was very cool as well. Kayaking was also a lot of fun and very pretty. I gained a lot of knowledge about global sustainability and environmental efforts needed to take in order to preserve the most beautiful parts of the world. I also gained the coolest experience of my life and made a lot of friends through this experience.
