After having four weeks to reflect on the program I still am in awe of the beauty of Antarctica. I will forever relive the memories that I made there! I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and have learned so much about myself, sustainability, and leadership throughout this experience.
I am not a business major so I have not had in-depth exposure to Western business before this class. Now that I have been introduced to some business principles from a sustainable lens I have more appreciation for the course. I was able to learn about multiple types of economies/business practices in this course, as well as be aware of the benefits and drawbacks of all of them. I was able to come into the course with an open mind since I had little prior knowledge of these topics.
This course has helped me be more confident in my leadership abilities since I will know how different aspects of a business will affect the whole world. I am so thankful for the lessons I have taken away from this experience and will continue to be inquisitive about how businesses can be made more sustainable.
