Heya!!! This is my blog post for May 17th 2023. We woke up today at 7:30 am!! :00 it was crazy Bc I slept pretty late! We went to the EPAM presentation today and it was so enlightening to hear about what the company does for their Diversity and Inclusion initiatives! So I personally work in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Mays and I?m pretty sure I have seen the EPAM logo before in the office. So whenever I got to the company presentation I was already interested, this was met with even more information on what they?re doing within their company to create a more diverse and inclusive workspace! In Japan, diversity and inclusion is making it way up the latter, and it?s not so prevalent in the business world. However, in recent years this is changing so being able to speak and ask question with a company that?s actually implementing these changes and following through with it was so a great opportunity to listen to! After the company visit our tour guide (J.D is his name) showed us this great local bento box place and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS!! Not only that but it was so cheap!! I really enjoyed this day and I can?t wait for what happens next!
