There are a lot of interesting things that have gone into working for a business in france. Being in Paris, there are people from all over the world in the city so you have to be able to deal with so many different kinds of people and cultures. Whereas in America, you mostly only deal with Americans. The culture in the states seems to be more hard working than the one in France as well. I see some of my fellow employees leave as soon as their shifts end, even if they are very busy at that time, or if they are in the middle of doing something. I think the culture here is very centered around having a comfortable life for yourself and not overworking. I worked at a golf course last summer and the expectation was that if you were in the middle of something, that you would finish it, even if that meant a little bit extra work.
