“Southern Africa has a deep sense of admiration for its animals and nature. The landscapes are breathtaking, and the wildlife is truly majestic. Contrary to the United States, there is a greater emphasis on family and community over individualism. The sense of togetherness is palpable, and it creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They are connected to one another and to nature. This connection is evident in their daily lives and traditions. Many of the safari guides said, ‘Welcome to my office’ as we entered the land, which I loved. It was a charming and heartfelt greeting that made me feel at home. This experience was centering, peaceful, and life-changing. The tranquility of the natural surroundings brought a sense of calm and reflection. I left with a renewed appreciation for the simple, yet profound, aspects of life.
