If you are a student considering studying abroad, I would strongly recommend doing so. It has been one of the most transformative and eye-opening experiences I have ever had. I studied in Strasbourg for a month over the summer and got to experience the life and culture of the people there as well as take classes towards my degree and learn about cultural intelligence. Understanding other cultures and how to interact with new people is extremely important now with how easy it is for distance barriers to be solved through the internet, so learning how to talk and interact with people from around the world will become more and more important as time passes. As a student, you will experience the life of another culture, you will hear and maybe even start to understand new languages, and you will see parts of the world that you may never have the chance to see otherwise. I am extremely satisfied with the way my study abroad went and I wish I could do another one someday.
