I just returned from my study abroad in Europe last week, and I can confidently say that the last month was one of the best months of my life. I was able to grow so much as a student and person, and I learned so much about marketing, business strategies, the world around me, and myself. I visited 8 countries and had countless valuable experiences, and I would like to share some of my most memorable ones with you.
To start, visiting Design Bridge in London was a great experience. Design Bridge is one of the top marketing and advertising agencies in the world, and I found it fascinating to learn about their process when it comes to researching a client and creating an ad campaign for them. Second, I loved our tour at the palace of Versailles. It was such a life changing experience to see a place where so many historical events have occurred. From the start of the French Revolution to the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, the palace is extremely rich in history. Third, our tour of the Dachau Concentration Camp was an extremely moving visit. It was so humbling to stand on the same soil where so many atrocities occurred not even a century ago. Fourth, our tour of Neuschwanstein Castle was one of my favorite experiences as well. We had the opportunity to hike from the bottom to the top of the mountain overlooking the famous castle, and we even got a tour of the inside of the opulent castle itself. Fifth, I absolutely loved our professional visit at the Swiss Paraplegic Center. It was so inspiring to see a place that works so hard to help people live normal lives after experiencing spinal cord injuries, and I truly loved getting to meet our amazingly accomplished speakers at the center.
To conclude, this program was the absolute trip of a lifetime. I enjoyed every moment of this trip, and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be a student on the Europe Marketing Study Abroad program.
