Being part of this brigade has been a powerful and meaningful experience that goes far beyond traditional travel. What stood out most to me was the strong sense of community and shared purpose among my fellow peers. Working alongside local entrepreneurs, students, and fellow participants, I saw how much can be accomplished when people come together with a common goal. The collaboration wasn’t just about business, it was about listening, respecting different perspectives, and building real connections.
This experience pushed me outside of my comfort zone in the best way. Whether it was navigating language barriers, or adjusting to a much different way of living and managing a business, I was constantly learning to be more open-minded and flexible. I began to understand how much culture shapes the way people work and interact, and how important empathy and patience are in any global setting.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is how different business styles reflect deeper cultural values. In this environment I experienced, business is more personal meaning that relationships and trust come first. Meetings feel more like conversations, and people take the time to get to know each other. That approach reminded me that long-term relationships often matter more than quick results.
In the end, what I’ll remember most is the human connection and the impact we made on the entrepreneurs. This brigade showed me that cultural exchange is not just about seeing new places, it’s about growing through real engagement, shared challenges, and learning from one another.
