I have been in Europe for one week now! This has been my first time going abroad and to say I feel as though I have gained cultural experience would be an understatement. It is really hard to comprehend how big the world is until you really step out and they’re able to see it from your own perspective. so far I have spent four days in London, which has been absolutely incredible. London is similar to United States as there is not a language barrier to overcome. However, it has been very interesting to see people who live in the United Kingdom views on America. I feel as though it has changed my overall perspective to be broader on different challenging topics. my favorite thing that we did in London would probably have to be high tea and touring parliament. After a few days spent in London, we rode a coach over to Paris France, which went through the Chunnel. We have been in Paris for exactly five hours now and it is absolutely breathtaking. Being in France and to visit Versailles. After two days here in Paris, we will move to Nice which is extremely exciting. I definitely believe that the language barrier in these many different countries will be a challenge, but I am excited for how it will help me grow as an individual. I am excited to gain experiences throughout my month abroad, which will help me to become a more well-rounded person. I hope to gain international experience that will help me to connect with as many people as possible within the business world. I am thankful for this opportunity and can’t wait for the experience I will gain while traveling! I feel lucky to be able to travel the world at such a young age with people who mean so much to me.
