At BI Oslo, I was impressed by how friendly everyone was. One of the most noticeable differences was priority of school. At BI Oslo, there’s a noticeable difference in how academics are prioritized. Education while I felt like it was definitely important, there’s a balanced approach that emphasizes the importance activities. With not much besides the lab work there was a lot of time to explore and hangout. This is not just an abroad experience as about 60% of my class was actual Norwegians enrolled for the summer. This often includes more frequent breaks and a less intense focus on academic performance, allowing students to engage more with their surroundings by hiking and having long lunches.
